I have had several clients ask me how to merge duplicate Facebook pages, so I’ve created this simple step-by-step video to walk you through the process.
Duplicate Facebook pages can be a problem with businesses who haven’t claimed their name and/or address on Facebook. They are commonly created when customers visit your physical business location and ‘check in’ on Facebook. If you don’t already have a Facebook page, or if your page isn’t obviously or properly named, visiting customers can create a page right from their mobile phone without requiring consent or proof that they’re the business owner.
The good news is that Facebook makes it easy to merge your duplicate Facebook pages while keeping whatever ‘likes’, ‘check-ins’, or ‘reviews’ that are on the duplicate page.
